Baby Leaves Smoothie recipe by Natures Trinity

Directions for Baby Leaves Smoothie:

Add two cups of filtered water to the blender to assist the blades.

If it is large cut it in half if it is small use it whole.
Baby Leaves Smoothie ingredients

Ingredients:

Fruit:

  • Use half of the fruits and leave the other half to be refrigerated for next days smoothie.
  • Where applicable remove the skins and seeds from the orange and banana. Leave the skin on the apple, pear and discard the seeds.
  • Include one whole mandarin without the skin and remove the seeds.
  • Rockmelon may show guidelines on the outside of the fruit, use these lines to cut a slice, including the seeds and discard the skin.

Greens:

  • A large handful of pre-packaged mixed Baby Leaves
  • A branch of mint, remove the leaves and add to the blender.

Spices:

  • 1/8 tsp of each of the following;
  • Paprika
  • Turmeric
  • Sage
  • Dutch Cinnamon
  • Use one dried leaf from the star anise and add it to the blender.
  • Add three full turns of freshly crushed peppercorns to the mix.

Other:

  • A thin slice of ginger, remove the skin.
  • Add a quarter of the garlic clove remove the outer covering and discard. Leave the remainder of the garlic clove with the skin on, and it will remain fresher for longer.
  • One teaspoon of Coconut flour.
  • One teaspoon of Maca.
  • Remove half of the avocado and place it into the blender, the remainder place in the refrigerator with the seed still intact.
  • A large avocado adds a thick creamy texture, and that is why I use half.

Nuts:

  • Two whole walnuts
