White Cabbage With Mixed Vegetables
Ingredients:
- Half a white cabbage cut into small pieces.
- Two large brown onions, remove the skin and dice.
- A quarter of a bag of frozen winter vegetables.
- Two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.
- One litre of water.
- Two teaspoons of Italian herbs.
- One teaspoon of vegetable stock.
- One teaspoon of Himalayan pink salt.
- One tablespoon of white vinegar.
- One teaspoon of lemon juice.
- One and a half teaspoons of dried garlic powder.
Method:
- Add the above ingredients to a pot and cook on medium to high heat.
- Place the lid cover back on to enhance the cooking process.
- When it boils, place the lid back on an angle to release some of the steam. Top up with a little more water if necessary.
- Stir it occasionally. Cook the contents until it has reached the desired softness, remove from heat and allow it to cool for ten minutes.
