Apple Compote recipe by Natures Trinity
Apple Compote
Ingredients:
- Eight medium green cooking apples
- Two tablespoons fresh sweet lemon juice
- One tablespoon of organic raw apple cider vinegar,
- with the ‘Mother’. It adds a distinct flavour to this.
- A quarter cup of raw sugar
- A quarter teaspoon of ground cinnamon
Method:
- Peel the skin remove the core and seeds from the apples, and chop roughly.
- Place them into a cooking container on medium heat.
- Add the rest of the ingredients as described above.
- As it cooks, frequently stir until reduced and cooked.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool and serve.
