You may find using a microwave oven as the quickest method to heat thawed food that has been in the deep freezer. Where is the value in this food for the advantage of our wellbeing?

Be aware of the effects of cooking in a microwave oven! It’s an unhealthy manner of preparing your foods, although this oven may be a convenience. The more healthy option would be to use a standard oven for cooking meals, after thawing.

Reheat in a microwave oven, and I don’t eat frozen meals that are prepared only to thaw out. I do not cook my meals in a microwave oven, and I soften winter vegetables by steaming above a pot of boiling water atop a standard stove.

Breakfast is considered the most important meal of the day. I include a variety of fruits that are in season into a smoothie in the morning, which does make me feel fuller until the next meal.

To the smoothie, I add the following half fruits and greens. The other half fruits and greens are refrigerated for next days breakfast. (This drink serves 2)

  • Apple
  • Banana
  • Mango
  • Peach
  • Pear
  • Slice of Rock Melon
  • Orange
  • A sprig of fresh mint, lovage and parsley
  • A teaspoon of Maca, Coconut flour, Hemp seeds and an edge of a teaspoon of Licorice root powder.
  • Also I add a sprinkling of super leaves.
  • A cup of filtered water
