Ingredients:
One cup of moist pitted dried Prunes
One cup of raw crushed almond meal
One tbsp of “Oh So Natural Peanut Butter (!00%)”
Three tbsp Coconut Oil
Three tbsp of good-quality drinking chocolate
Two small tsp of Cinnamon
One tbsp of ” 100% Canadian Pure” Maple Syrup
One tsp Vanilla extract.
Fine Desiccated Coconut.
Water.
Method:
Pour the one cup of pitted Prunes onto a chopping board.
Secure each Prune by stabbing it with a fork and, using a knife to cut through it,
slice it into smaller pieces to spread evenly.
This method ensures that each Prune does not have a pit in it.
Place the cut Prunes into a mixing bowl.
Add a cup of Raw Crushed Almond Meal.
One tablespoon of 100% Peanut Butter.
One tbsp of ” 100% Canadian Pure” Maple Syrup
Three tbsp of Coconut Oil.
Three tbsp good-quality drinking chocolate.
Add one tsp of Vanilla Extract and mix it.
Mix all the ingredients thoroughly. If the mixture appears dry, add a small amount of water and keep mixing until absorbed.
Add a sprinkling of desiccated coconut to a dry chopping board to roll the mixture into balls.
I use a larger teaspoon to scoop the mixture and drop it into the desiccated coconut on the cutting board as a guide.
I hope you enjoy it as much as my friends and I do!
