Potatoes Lightly Fried Recipe

(Serves 2)

Ingredients:

  • 3 Large Red Potatoes
  • 2 Large brown onions

Preparation:

  • Cut the potatoes with the skin on slightly more significantly than the usual potato chip slices and place them on a dinner plate. Do not remove the skin.
  • No more tears when cutting the onions with the skin on; Before placing these slices on another plate and separating them into rings, the skin will come off quickly.

Method:

  1. In a zig-zag motion, pour extra virgin olive oil into a non-stick fry pan, and tilt the pan to get even coverage of oil to the base.
  2. Cook on moderate heat. Add the sliced potatoes to the hot oil in the frypan and watch the base of the potato chip turn golden before turning it over to cook on the opposite side.
  3. 2 Large brown onions – cut into slices with the skin on and remove the skin when separating it into rings. Place these onions in another frypan using hot oil, and cook on moderate heat until translucent.
  4. I did not use salt in this dish because I could taste the salt in these two vegetables.
