Nature's Trinity

One Hundred Best-Known Natures Healing Herbs

The New Healing Herbs by Michael Castleman. I purchased this book to find out about herbs and its uses.

I recently spoke to a woman who told me about a particular herb called Dill; she said that people in her country gave dill tea to their husbands when they came home drunk. The tea sobered them up within a short time.

One learns something new every day; she told me DILL cleanses the blood; it’s a natural preservative, it’s a stomach soother, it has breath-freshening effects and prevents urinary tract infection, and there is so much more to Dills healing potential.

Michael Castleman wrote this book for everyone who is interested in nature’s oldest remedies. Mentioned in this book is everything you need to know about one hundred best-known nature’s healing herbs.

Each page contains a profile showing which family, genus, and species, also known by another common name or names and which part of the herb is used. It gives the healing history, therapeutic uses, recommendations, safety factor, wise use guidelines and growing information if you decide to grow your herbs.

I was surprised to learn about other members of Dill, carrot, parsley, celery, fennel, and angelica. Now I know more about Dill than I did before.

In Michael Castleman’s book, you will read all about the various herbal plant’s nature has to offer! This book has one of the best-researched and most reliable herb guides I have purchased.
