Adolescents, kids and adults alike take advantage of a heart healthy diet of vegetables and fruits with limitations on the sugar, sodium, saturated fat, trans fat and cholesterol they eat.

Lower your risk for mental health issues and eat fruits and vegetables, instead of hard to digest meats and other junk foods. Eating well can even contribute to managing your symptoms and recover and get control of your life.

Reduce your intake of sugar and processed food, read the ingredients list to see what makes this food. Increase your consumption of filtered water if you can. Tap water has chemicals in it and can be harmful to your health. In your daily diet, prefer fruits and fresh vegetables, to any meat or dairy foods.

Every person is different in the types of food they can eat, which includes dietary restrictions or lifestyle options. Typically, it’s best to eat unprocessed foods that are close to nature.

15 Minutes a day

Do something you love for even only 15 minutes a day; you can always add variety and more hours afterward. Don’t be deceived by your optimism of your first day on a new diet or exercise regime. Include drinking water, overeating and stay mostly sedentary can take a toll on one’s health. Sadly, many people do not understand the compounding effects of their lifestyle options until it’s too late.
