Ingredients:

A can of chickpeas

Three tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil

Two tablespoons of lemon juice

Add a teaspoon of Himalayan salt
-
One tablespoon of soy sauce
-
A small brown onion
-
Three cloves of garlic
-
Five leaves of basil
-
Three branches of parsley
-
One leaf of silver beet/chard/ or spinach leaves
-
A touch of cayenne pepper or more if you like it spicy

Half a teaspoon of turmeric
Method:

Empty the can of chickpeas into a strainer to drain.

Rinse until the water becomes clear.

Add the chickpeas and all other ingredients listed above into a blender or food processor

Remove the skin from both the garlic and onion.

Break the leaves by hand into smaller pieces before placing these into the appliance.
If either the food processor or the blender finds it hard to mix, add a little water to it.
