Cauliflower Fritters recipe by Natures Trinity
Serves 2
Directions for Cauliflower Fritters:
Ingredients:
A half or a full head of raw cauliflower, trim the cauliflower by discarding the leaves and core.
Next, cut the raw cauliflower into sandwich slices and place it into a colander for steaming. When tender, remove the colander away from the heat to cool.
In the meantime, make the batter:
Four full heaped tablespoon of semolina pour into a mixing bowl.
Add a small cup of water to mix the flour into a batter consistency.
In a separate cup, add two teaspoons of replacement egg powder.
Add four tablespoons of water and combine with the egg powder until it thickens. If you find it too hard to stir, add a little more water until the consistency becomes more comfortable to mix.
Do not make it too watery; it will not stick to the steamed cauliflower.
Pour the egg replacement mixture into the semolina and combine.
Add a pinch of Himalayan Pink Salt.
Insert the steamed cauliflower slices into the batter and ensure adequate coverage.
In a non-stick frypan, add the extra virgin oil covering the base, and on moderate heat, place the slices of cauliflower covered in batter directly into the pan. You may find broken pieces. Lift these out with the batter and tablespoon them into the frypan.
I compliment this recipe with a side salad, recipes available on this blog or make one up of your own. I hope you enjoy another way of eating cauliflower as much as my friends and I do.
Enjoy!
Thank you Claude.
