(Serves 2)

A Little Goes A Long Way - Green Smoothie

Green Smoothie Ingredients:

  • Fruit
  • One Banana (Peel skin)
  • Half an Orange (Remove the skin and leave some or all the pith on the orange)
  • Half a Pear
  • Half an Apple
  • One medium slice of Cantelope (Rock Melon)

Green Smoothie Leaves:

  • A small pinch of super mixed green leaves (pre-packaged) or fresh.
  • Sage for flavour, use two small or one large leaf.
  • Use a small number of rosemary leaves. Be careful, not too much.
  • Two branches of Fresh Mint. (Discard the stem)
  • A branch of parsley leaves.
  • A small branch of Fennel, remove stems and include the spider-like leaves.

Considered Super Foods:

  • One teaspoon of each of the following,
  • Hemp Seeds
  • Coconut Flour
  • Maca
  • Flaxseed Meal

Green Smoothie Spices:

  • Tiny amounts of each of the following required.
  • Ginger
  • Cinnamon
  • Star Anise (One piece or half)
  • Turmeric

Vegetables:

  • A quarter of a carrot.
  • Three thin slices of a celery bunch can include the leaves.
  • Add one and a half glass of filtered water to the blender.
