A Little Goes A Long Way – Green Smoothie recipe by: Natures Trinity
(Serves 2)
Green Smoothie Ingredients:
- Fruit
- One Banana (Peel skin)
- Half an Orange (Remove the skin and leave some or all the pith on the orange)
- Half a Pear
- Half an Apple
- One medium slice of Cantelope (Rock Melon)
Green Smoothie Leaves:
- A small pinch of super mixed green leaves (pre-packaged) or fresh.
- Sage for flavour, use two small or one large leaf.
- Use a small number of rosemary leaves. Be careful, not too much.
- Two branches of Fresh Mint. (Discard the stem)
- A branch of parsley leaves.
- A small branch of Fennel, remove stems and include the spider-like leaves.
Considered Super Foods:
- One teaspoon of each of the following,
- Hemp Seeds
- Coconut Flour
- Maca
- Flaxseed Meal
Green Smoothie Spices:
- Tiny amounts of each of the following required.
- Ginger
- Cinnamon
- Star Anise (One piece or half)
- Turmeric
Vegetables:
- A quarter of a carrot.
- Three thin slices of a celery bunch can include the leaves.
- Add one and a half glass of filtered water to the blender.
