(Serves.2)
Ingredients:
4 Medium-sized red-skinned potatoes
1 Medium to large brown-skinned onion
4 Tablespoons of Semolina.
1 Medium carrot, leave the skin on.
2 Teaspoons of Orgran egg replacement powder.
Method:
Spread a pinch of Himalayan Pink Salt in the mixing bowl. This salt is used for its unique flavor and mineral content.
Put two teaspoons of Orgran egg replacement powder into a teacup. Add one teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil to the egg powder and stir;
Add four tablespoons of water to the egg powder and stir until the mixture has turned into a paste. If it is still too hard to mix, add more water and keep mixing until reaching the desired result.
Remember, this recipe is designed to adapt to your taste, giving you the freedom to adjust the water quantity. Just be mindful not to make it too watery. This mixture may appear too thin; keep stirring until the mixture thickens to your liking.
Set this mixture aside until ready to use. The dish will be ready to serve when the mixture has thickened and the ingredients are well combined, promising a mouthwatering and delicious outcome.
The following ingredients are placed into a mixing bowl.
Grate the potatoes in the large oblong holes of the grater and leave the skin on for added flavour.
Grate the carrot in the small oblong holes of the grater, leaving the skin on and remove the end bits.
Remove the outer layer and trimmings from the brown onion. Chop to the desired sized pieces.Add the four tablespoons of Semolina and mix in thoroughly with the rest of the ingredients.
Now use the Orgran egg replacement mix and spoon out evenly around the mixing bowl.
Now, simply mix everything together in the bowl. See, it’s not as complicated as it may seem. You can do this with ease!
Bring out a non stick-frypan and add enough olive oil to cover the base. Turn the heat on high.
Please use a tablespoon to scoop out the mixture and place it directly into the hot olive oil. This will help the fritters cook evenly. Use the back of the table spoon to slightly flatten the fritter, and when it starts to show a golden edge, flip over to cook the other side. This flipping technique ensures both sides are cooked to perfection.
Enjoy!
