I was reading at the time when the incident with the flying banana happened.
My reaction caused me to move my chair away from the table to see what created this sound and I saw it was a banana which had landed underneath the table.
It had travelled one and a half meters away from a bowl where it lay amongst other fruit.
Before the flying banana fell at my feet, I heard two sounds, one crackling, and the other popping. Still concentrated on reading without turning around to find out where these sounds originated.
This was not the first time
Earlier this year 2016, I have been experiencing unusually bizarre happenings, and it all started six months after the first suicide by hanging of a young man living next door to me. A year prior, another young man from the same address committed suicide also by hanging.
Was this the cause of a playful spirit or spirits?
Items I had placed on the kitchen table for instance; only to find later when I had come back for it was no longer there where I had placed it.
Strange, I thought I would have remembered doing it, and I had no recollection of moving it to another room in the house.
Another instance: I would place a hair brush on the bedroom table only to find it in the kitchen. Other items would disappear from rooms to other rooms where it did not belong.
When I related this experience to a friend of mine, she suggested it may be a poltergeist. Who knows!
With all the unusual happenings inside and around the house, I thought I was going crazy!
What I think caused the flying banana…
I lived in this house for 33 years, and nothing happened in all those years such as I have described above until two suicides took place next door.
Those bizarre occurrences, like the flying banana, have stopped since I no longer live in that house.
