Nature's Trinity

Everybody, including myself – Misunderstood!

Language is a way we communicate with one another, however it can be greatly misunderstood in the tone or body language we use, whether we are consciously aware of the way we convey our messages.

misunderstood

For example;

I had an encounter with a long lost friend of mine and during our meeting everything I said was taken by my friend as an attack on her personally, this was not my intention I simply asked her what she had done in the 20 years since we last saw each other.

She thought about this get-together for 3 days and much to my surprise in the interim I was sent a text message saying that she enjoyed our meeting very much, and sent me hugs and kisses. I did not do anything special on this day, only gave her some free items which I thought she could use and she accepted.

I was sent another text message a couple of days later stating I should read my email, the tone of this text message sounded cold and I wondered why it was so urgent for me to read her email.

I was shocked to read what she had to say about me and wondered why she did not have the courage to tell me this face to face! Instead she wrote me an email with instructions at the bottom showing, “Don’t bother emailing me, it won’t be read.”

Be careful how you communicate with your family or friends – you can be greatly misunderstood!

    Appreciating the time and effort you put into your blog and detailed information you offer. It’s great to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same out of date rehashed material. Excellent read! I’ve bookmarked your site and I’m including your RSS feeds to my Google account.
